The General Authority for Social Security and Pensions organized Thursday (an open Ramadan day) for the Social Security staff at the Police Officers Club in Sana'a to bid farewell to the holy month of Ramadan Under the patronage of Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Hifi, CEO and in order to enhance communication outside official working hours among all members of the social security family.

The opening day, which started from the third hour afternoon, included various sports activities (swimming, volleyball and table tennis), as well as sport leagues in the game of football among four sports teams. - The first match: The team of the branches gathered in the technical sector team - The second match: The team of the head of the Authority team with the financial and administrative sector team And ended with the victory of the sector team 5/1 -final match: The two teams collected the winners in the first and second matches, namely the head team of the Authority and the team of the branches of the Authority and ended the match with the victory of the Branches team 1/0. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nabil Al-Ghouli, Vice-CEO, Mr. Fadel Al-Akwa, the financial and administrative Deputy of the Authority, and Mr. Aref Al-Awadi, the technical Deputy of the Authority. After the honor, a ramdan breakfast meal and a group dinner were held for the employees of the Authority in the presence of honorary guests at this event, namely Dr. Abdulmalik Hajar, , and Dr. Ali Al-Shua'ir, former CEOs of the Authority. In the evening, a Ramadan evening was held in which cultural competitions were held. The first competition was conducted by Mr. Aref Al Awadi. The second competition was conducted by Fahad Abdulqader, training consultant at the Authority. The televised lecture was then given by Leader Al-saied. The most important thing on this day is not the establishment of sports activities, but rather the meeting of staff members away from the daily atmosphere and routines in addition to discovering the talents of some employees and highlighting their sports and cultural skills. Al-Hifi suggested forming a sports team under the name of the General Authority for Social Security and Pensions to represent it in any upcoming sports matches. On their part, the employees and participants in the activities of the Open Day expressed their happiness for the establishment of such a distinguished events, which is held for the first time in the history of the Authority. They thanked Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hifi, CEO of the Commission for his care and interest in enhancing the performance via such events, which was successful and characterized by the intensity of attendance , good organization and arrangement in the various activities of the event.
